We use reasonable steps to ensure that all Personal Information is handled sensitively and securely. Bio Concepts is committed to complying with its legal obligations including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) ("Act") and the Australian Privacy Principals (“APPs”).

Personal information we collect from you

We may not be able to supply the requested goods and services to you if you do not provide the information requested. c) providing you with marketing communications related to Education and Clinical tools, Events, Product Updates and Offers, Industry & Company Announcement (you have the option to opt-out of these communications at any time);

e) to seek your feedback in relation to customer satisfaction with our products and our relationship with you;
f) dealing with complaints; and
g) any purpose as required by various Australian laws which may either expressly, or in effect, require us to collect your personal information. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information collected from you is accurate, up to date, complete and stored in a secure environment and accessed only by our authorised personnel. We take measures to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.
Keeping records
Bio Concepts will take reasonable steps to ensure that any personal information that we collect and use is accurate, complete and up to date. However, should any of the personal details and information we collect from you change in any way, it is your responsibility to advise us of that change so that our records can be updated and continue to be of service to you.

We will only transfer your personal information overseas if the transfer is to you, or to one of your authorised representatives, or with your express consent, or the transfer is necessary for the provision of contracted products or services to you. If we do not agree to alter that personal information, we will allow you to provide a statement as to why you believe that personal information is inaccurate, not up to date or incomplete and we will keep that statement with your personal information.

c) professional or trade association membership information (e.g., NHAA, ANTA, ATMS APHRA); or

In circumstances where we do require sensitive information from you for the purpose of providing our focussed services to you, we will seek your consent to collect it unless the information has been provided to us by a practitioner who holds an account with us.
We will only use or disclose sensitive information for the primary purpose for which it was collected or for a directly related secondary purpose that would have been within your reasonable expectations at the time we collected the information from you.
If you are a practitioner who holds an account with us and you disclose sensitive information to us in relation to a person, you warrant that you have received consent from the person to disclose their sensitive information to us. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bio Concepts against any claim, demand, action or proceeding made by any person arising from or in connection with the disclosure of that person’s personal or sensitive information to us.
How we may collect information
Bio Concepts may collect Personal Information from time to time, when we request it from you, or when you authorise others to provide it to us, including:

Keeping records
